How would you react when you hear someone announce that they are getting married
If it is your close friend, you will definitely congratulate them and give them all the best wishes and blessings.
If it is your acquaintance, you will still congratulate them but with half hearted.
It's always a different between that... and it's very much depend on what position are you in, right?
A friend of mine told me that she's planning to get married this year end. I was happy for her and I was wondering also, first few years of marriage, you'll be having good time, the honeymoon period things like that... what about after married for few years??
Will you all quarrel over money, over in laws, over no time to spend together, etc?
When I first got married, I was kind of enjoying the honeymoon period, unfortunately the honeymoon period wasn't last long and more over due to working stress and that had lead into many arguments and quarrels.
If a couple regardless of married or not married, are not compromising or giving into another party, perhaps that will end up tragedy.
Don't you think so?
Anyway, back to my friend's wedding announcement. She was so happy and sweet over the proposal from her hubby to be, and kept the wedding ring picture in her MSN Messanger. And then, I was asking myself, ... have I ever put my hubby's picture in my wallet? Hmmm... not a single time....
Maybe... I said maybe, ... different age, different generation and different exposure.
If decent young lady first boyfriend that became the husband, honestly to me that has not been exposed enough to the outside world. Not that I encourage everyone to flirt around, but, still that is considering gaining experience, isn't it right?
hahahaha... having said that, every couple should learn how to understand each other needs, stand by each other, compromise as well.... that will definitely build a healthy marriage.

How do you handle your working life?
This has been something that we ought to face on our day to day life. And, many of these issues are not able avoid. You are either to face it or take it lightly and be positive about it.
If you decided to face it positively, then you can act on it and be pro-active on everything. Otherwise, you are not able to compete with others.
If you decided to take it negatively, then you'll be depressed over it and find this is too stress and tense about it.
So, which one are you?? Positive or negative?
G Hotel, Penang
I visited G Hotel last weekend and noted they have lots of funny funny chairs in their lobby. First impression that I have from the hotel was, geee... this hotel is so modern. Modern in a sense that their basins in their washroom unlike those typical basins. Unfortunately I do not have a chance to snap a few of that.
If you have a chance do check it out, ya?
The lobby and their lounge is all located at the ground floor. And, it's divided by this nice design and unique separator.
Look at the chairs that place in the lobby, isn't it nice?

TGIF
Ok, allow me to have a quick head-up. Many multinational companies that we have in this small little island practice 5 working days, which means you only work from Monday to Friday and rest day on Saturday and Sunday. If any public holiday falls on Saturday, there will be a replacement holiday on Monday.
Unlike any local small company will work your ass out, and make sure you work enough of the 8 hours a day. They even squeeze you more than that....
Ok, back to the topic!! How would you spend your Friday when you know you don't need to work on Saturyday?
For the singles, will of course, go partying, clubbing, etc.
For the courting couples, will either go for movie, clubbing together or pak toh lor, what else, right?
For the married couples, without children will either do housework, run errands or pak toh lor...
For the married couples, with children, of course spending time with children, family, lor, right?
What about for those married couples, that had been marrying for long and no kids... what do they do? Clean the house? Run errands? Or just being lazy at home?
I know some friends will hide themselves at home and pursuing TVB drama... and they can start from 9pm till the next morning 4 to 5am.
Some will meet up with a few good friends for drinking session. What else will they do, ai ya, .... also all the gossipping lor......
At times, I realize if we do not treasure the weekends and make it more meaningful, what can we do the make it better?
1. Help out those non-profit organization.
2. Be a volunteer to those homes.
Well, care to share for those that have plans and mission over the weekends?
Love
How do you find yourself when you fell in love?
Was it amazing? Was it excited? Was it fun? Was it sad? Was it happy? Was it trilled? What was it the last time when you fell in love?
Was your first love became your belawful wedded spouse? Or, it was an unfortunate one it turn out to be another person?
Care to share and drop a few lines of your hidden happiness, hidden sorrows?

Disappointment
I never know and the equipment is so intelligent that it can tell even you're in your day 10, you can't test, cuz there is an indicator that shows please remove the test stick.
I was like getting out from the wrong side of the bed, and now am like so frustrated of myself, so upset of myself and so disappointed of myself.
I bet nobody could understand this feeling when you're over confident and you didn't realize you've actually made this mistake. And, it's a stupid mistake that you ever made.
Been trying hard to conceive, and it seems that I am under tremendous stress from my own perfectionist's kinda world. I must do everything right, perfect and well done. I can't handle any single mistake which I find it unacceptable.
I wonder with this kind of mindset, is it good for an employee or for an employer? But, whatever it takes, everyone would ask me, relax, take it easy, blah blah blah...
With that disappointment had actually led to a mild arguement between me and hubby. Yet, hubby was so sweet and made breakfast for me. I wonder, should I blame myself for the mistake that I've done or should I take it lightly and let it pass through another month.
You tell me!

Monday Blues
Yet to sleep, yet to start work... I already have my Monday blues. Do you?
More over tomorrow will be a full day meeting, presentations, blah blah...
When can I get over the blues when you're working?
But when you're jobless, you can't get over the other blues, the income blues.... at that time you're hoping to get a job fast, right?
Hahahah... that's life, that's human!

Is your marriage healthy?
Buddy, I know you know am referring to you! Stand up on your own and you know what to fight for.
How do you define your marriage healthy or not?
How do you define your marriage loving or not?
Is your marriage being interfere by the in-laws and you became the “out-law”?
Is your marriage being broken up by any 3rd party?
Are you neglecting your spouse at home?
Are you being neglected due to the influences from the in-law?
Is your marriage based on monetary weightage?
All the above questions pop-up after I had a word with my best friend, whom I’ve not been seeing for many years. But, we know we have each other’s thought from the bottom of our heart.
First, I got to know they were looking for me high and low, with another friend whom was our lecturer. And, because of the last minute schedules, I can’t fly down to KL to meet them for lunch.
Thus, I gave her a call. And, a call could lead to something like a marriage is at stake. One of the reason was due to the influences from the in-law and the husband is not fighting back to protect the wife, nor the children.
Am surprised to hear that and this has been going long for 6 years… I wonder how can a woman suffer silently like that without fighting back?
I always believe a woman should fight back for her own right, no matter what it takes.
Buddy, like I told you, you have done the right thing that you’re pursuing your dream and continue with strength. All of us will be here to support you. With that dream fulfilled, you will have all your ‘power’ to fight for what you supposed to have!!
And I always believe in you could do so.
An in-law like that, honestly, doesn’t earn a single penny of respect!!!
Where in the world could simply blamed for a visit to their daughter-in-law’s family that led to a robbery at home?
Doesn’t that sound funny??
I believe there are many ‘pantang-larang’ in Malaysia and even in certain generation. But, an in-law like them, well educated and well brought up and wealthy could accused the daughter-in-law for that matter, honestly, these in-law doesn’t earn a single respect from anyone!
Let’s talk about the husband? Doesn’t the husband stand up and tell the mother that, “Mom, my wife did nothing wrong and she ain’t that kind of person.”
Why the husband is not standing up and protect the wife??
What has the husband done so far??
Hiding behind the mommy’s back??
That sounded like ‘no balls’, isn’t it?
Sorry to be rude. But a woman could eat up all these silently all these years, the husband earn no respect from others as well.
Well, buddy… stay firm, stay strong, be happy, have faith in yourself. You can do and you could do better than this!!!
Luv ya.
Do they lead by example?
Yup, get it right! He was teased by the teacher!!!
How can a teacher teased his own student that way?? That's sarcastic. The teacher was saying how could you use such a short pencil, might as well swallow it. The teacher don't even make a first move to offer the student a new pencil but to tease the student in such a sarcastic way.
My goodness, and for heaven sake, the teacher should quit the job right away instead of teaching the wrong thing to the new generation!
I believe many of us will be wondering, do they really lead by example?
I can tell, some teachers are even tell their students to go for tuition, nothing much they can teach further. WTF, man!!!
What society is this?? That's all $$ talking!!!
The more I write, the more I find it disgusting!!!
Poor doesn't mean anyone can tease, can bully, can ignore; in fact, we should lend our helping hand.... now that an 11 year old boy have committed suicide. I wonder will there be any follow up case on this?
Should the education ministry conduct a domestic inquiry???

May 13th
May 13th..... it means a lot to our family. Need not mean it's a Mother's Day, but it's also our beloved grandmother's death anniversary.
No doubt she had left us for 2 years, but, I can tell everyone at home still think of her, even dreamt of her. And we always brought her up in our conversation.
That can imagine how close we are to her.
An old lady whom is understanding and also so caring, I can even dare to say that not even her own daughters can be that understanding as hers.
Typing this blog is actually lead me in tears right now... cuz, all of us miss her very much.
She was a qualified MidWife when she's single. After knowing her boyfriend then became her husband, she had actually retired from that duty. She raised her children and educated her children with love, tender and care. She had gone thru a lot difficulties in life, and even the WW2.
She's our CNN, Bernama, Star OnLine reporter, as she can tell you from head to tail what's happening of the day. During her free time, she will read her usual prayer books. Even after her cataract operation, she will use the binoculars to read her newspapers.
She's fun, hardworking, a good cook, a good listener, an understanding mother, mother in-law, and a grandmother to everyone in the family. Now that she's gone, honestly .... I can't find anyone like her, whom can listen to our day to day stories.
When she left us that day, no one could take it eventhough we know the fact, she will leave us one day. Honestly, this day is one of the hardest day that anyone could take it.
I salute you, grandma. And, I love you!

Don't you protest or object with this increase?
Does anyone out there want to boycott Astro’s decision?
No doubt am not really an Astro fan. But do take a look at the program being showed, ok? Let’s be reasonable.
Some shows are repeating and it repeats after few months later.
A very good example would be the movie by J Lo & Richard Gere, Shall We Dance. This show was air few months ago in Channel 40, now that it came back again and it shows in Channel 42. Does it make any sense?
If Astro is meant to show all the good channels to the subscribers, then why whenever there’s a heavy rain; and we can’t watch any channel at all?? Aren’t they have upgraded their satellite?
Oh boy, don’t Astro treat the consumers like an idiot? I personally feel it, ok??
Ananda Krishnan has made more than a billion fortune for himself, does this really a matter to raise the subscription fees?
Not to mention he has to give salary to his employees, I bet this anyone of us out do have the same problem when we call the customer service centre, we’ll have the problem of holding the line for more than 10 to 15 minutes.
After we managed to talk to the person, the 1st thing they will ask, can you switch off the decoder and on it back again or can you pull the sim card out from the decoder and insert it back again….
I wonder anyone have any experience of raising your voice to these people? Or showing your frustration to them?
I know no matter how much I’ve voiced out from here, it will not make any different with Astro. Nothing much we could do but to accept and face the fact.
Or leave? Right??? Migrate to else where…..
We ain't safe anymore, don't we?
Do you notice the newspaper has been publishing all these news, like gang rape, burglary, murder & threaten, etc?
Johor Baru has 2 major news in a week, one is about the gang raped that happened at the petrol station where the woman and the child in the car and the group of bastards were carjacking and also gang raped her even she said she’s pregnant.
This is another news that a young woman was about to reach home and was being bag slashed and was badly hurt too.
I wonder the police force out there do notice the rate of crime has increased?
I don’t think we are living in a safe place anymore.
Do you see anything????
"Hey, you girls like to take pictures in the hotel room, what if you accidentally take something like those uninvited friends. So how ah?"
I was like, "Choy koh lei tai ket lai si."
So, you guys tell me, do you see anything there????
Oh ya, I must give good review on this hotel. The services are excellent and attentive. Except that their room door is kinda like unable to lock. Anyway, just a ring, they have sent their engineer to get it fix for us. What we like the most is, when we about to go for our breakfast. You must line up at the counter, then they will ask, please allow me how to address you, and I'll take you to your seat. After this, they sent us to the table where it is near the window where you can see the KLCC Park. It was one of the best view that I ever enjoyed for breakfast. On and off they will drop by to greet you and also offer their help to take pictures for you.
Isn' t this is 1st class service in a 5 star hotel?
I know I know I know, you wanna know what hotel isn't it? It's the Mandarin Oriental Hotel next to KLCC Suria.
And yes, that's the hotel that majority of Royal or Governments like to hold their banquet. In fact, while we were staying there, the King and the Queen were hosting the National Banquet there.
Oh ya, guess what I've captured from the surroundings?

What a hot hot hot day....
And I know the fact that whatever I grumble it will not change the world, not even a Malaysian. Right? And I know the fact the more I grumble it will make this blog boring and dull. It will not attract anyone to surf thru and read thru 'My Story'.
