Bon Voyage...!!

Woke up very early this morning, perhaps I know I’ll be leaving here soon. Just want to spend more time down here. I know I enjoyed the sea breeze, the sea waves, the birds tweeting, and the quietness in this island. There’s so much privacy down here, no one disturb you, no one bother you, no one bugging you, neither anyone bug you for deadline to submit your assignments, nor meetings that you need to rush on.
It was misty to me when I look over to the other side, I see the hotel staff start cleaning up the beach. I can hear sea waves hit the shore line, that’s so beautiful. Seeing those waves’ whirls into small waves… it was so amazing, I could only tell that’s our nature.
Hubby and I had a slow walk to Feast Village to have our breakfast, on the way there, we hear some screeching sound, thus, we looked up to the coconut trees, guess what we have seen…. We see bats that hanging on the trees, after so many days in the island, only now we realize those screeching sound were from the bats…
At 11.30am, I see the hotel staff came to our villa to collect our luggage, and ferry will be transporting us back to Lumut at 12noon. I was reluctant to leave … kept taking pictures whenever I could.
I know I’ll come back again… Don’t I? Bon Voyage!!!!

My Spa Experience, Pangkor Laut Resort III

In my other blog I posted about the breakfast that we enjoyed in Feast Village on our day 2. After the breakfast plus scenery admiring, we proceed to Spa Village.
It was our first time to engage a Spa treatment or service. And I was pretty nervous when they advised us what to do.

Whenever we are in their reception, they will serve us 2 glasses of lemongrass drink and a cold tower. It was refreshing and relaxing. Of course, I wouldn’t know does lemongrass gives a calming sensation to our body, but it’s always relaxing and calming after that.

We engaged Spa Village’s Couple Spa Treatment which is some kind of treatment for Malay wedding ceremony for the bride and groom. They also advised us to be there early to enjoy the Spa Village facilities, and it requires 45 minutes to utilize the facilities like Malay Cold Bath, Japanese Bath, Rotenburu Pool, Shanghai Scrub, followed by foot bath and foot pounding.
Before we walk thru the Malay Cold Bath, the Spa Village’s staff wants us to make a wish in the well, then only we walk thru the pool. The water was freezing cold but it was something that I’ve not done it before.

After the that, the staff will ask us to inhale the 4 corners herbs, I only remember one of that is to clear our lungs, and all of these are good for health.

Oh ya, though we engaged Couple Spa Treatment, but female and male are not supposed to share these facilities together, which means I’ll go my way, he’ll go his way. [LOL]

Before we went thru all these baths, we will be guided to the changing room, and the staff will asked us to remove all your clothing and your belongings. Then, they will tie us with a Batik Sarong. Then only they will ask us to make a wish in the well, follow by the Malay Cold Bath.

After the inhale herbs corners, the staff will bring us to the Japanese -style cleansing with a 'goshi-goshi' cloth. Then after, followed by a dip in the heated Rotenburu pool. The staff told us that the Rotenburu pool is actually consists of many herbs that is good for our health, on top of that they are also serving ginger tea for us.

After this Rotenburu pool, they brought me to a small room, and that’s where they did a Shanghai scrub on me and given me a new sarong. After that, they will proceed with a foot bath and a foot pounding. They told us that’s good for blood circulation.

These are the 45mins complimentary facilities that were given if you engage the spa treatment with Spa Village. After that, their staff will take you to any Pavilion for any Spa treatment. Since, we engaged Couple Spa Treatment, the staff brought both of us to a Pavilion. Where they have cozy atmosphere, soft music to soothing your sensation.

This experience consists of 5 treatments each of the male and female. Both are equally the same, first, they will massage your body, then they will give you a 10 minutes break and provide you some herbal tea. I remembered clearly that herbal tea is bitter taste, thus they advise you to add on honey before you drink.

After that the short break, they will continue with your hair treatment and followed by the face treatment.

After that, they will have another traditional body scrubbing, and we may proceed to have our shower. It’s an open shower for both of us. It’s entire different experience for both of us.
After our shower, they provide us a milk bath with lots of flowers pedals in the pool for us to dip for about 10 minutes also. Then, we’ll continue with a steam bath before we end the entire treatment. All in, we have spent about the whole morning in Spa Village.
After all treatments, they will take us to a wooden hub for rest... it was a pleasant experience for both of us. I was too excited over the surrounding and took lots of pictures. Particularly like their swimming pool very much. I find that it's so beautiful that you could actually see the Straits of Malacca while you're swimming. Isn't this wonderful?

Look at the fish ponds, it was so beautiful... I was fascinating on every single thing in Spa Village.

My vacation in Pangkor Laut Resort - II

While I was wondering how do I survive on an island without a TV nor a shopping complex, I have actually thinking should I go for a spa to relax myself.

I have never done any spa before, when I was there, I have no idea what questions to ask, neither do I have any idea what do I need to bring for the spa. Glad that the person in charge was so nice and sweet that she advised us not to bring anything but ourselves.

When we reached the place, again, I was fascinating with the surrounding, the fish ponds, the pools, the library, the entrance of Spa Village, literally everything down there… by looking at these pictures, I guess you could tell how excited I was for that moment in time.
After the enquiry, we were transport back to our villa for a rest. And again, I was busy taking pictures of my villa. I wanna share with my family and friends, of course and you on everything that I’ve taken… whether the bathroom, the room, the bed, the couch, the shampoo, the lotion, … just everything. Every view was so pleasant to me, when I was at the balcony, I can look over to Pangkor Island … and those stilt sea villas. I was thinking if I have the chance to visit this island again, I’ll sure to put up a night in sea villa.
What I impressed with the idea is, they really made this place like you feel at home. Some people read books and newspaper on the bed, right? Well, you could see them have 2 king size beds in the library and there’s where I find it so comfortable to read newspaper there.
Next to the library, you will see those gigantic round lazy chairs along the patio. It’s like another cozy corner for us to chit chat, to catch up with each other.

I salute the designer that design this resort that makes everyone feels at home, and feels like a VIP. They gave every guest an attentive attention, wherever they see you around they will greet you.
