When I read the news about Andy Lau's long time girl friend Carol Chu moved out from the bungalow after the wedding plans called off.
I really wanted to hats of this Mr. Lau whom I find him a very irresponsible man in the century. Don't you think so?? A woman has been with you for a century long and has been quietly supporting him without standing in the lime light; yet, he doesn't care much or even give her a title of Mrs. so and so.
Then question lie here, what kind of man is this?
And, why would the fans blindly admiring him and so on??
Even Alan Tham also admitted that he has two wives, and even Jackie Chan is admitting Lim Fong Chiau is his legally married wife.
If a fan could crazily follow their idol like that and pressuring the idol for not getting married; think those fans can be neglected without giving a reason. Come on, that's people personal's life, isn't it?
Isn't it silly to call off the wedding due to media frenzies? Even so, so what?? Just sue them for infringe of privacy then.
I always believe there's always a way of getting rid of these media... if Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes could do it in Italy, then who is this Andy Lau??

This Mr.Lau have earn enough, he do not have financial burden therefore it is time for him to step down and devote his remaining life to his own life and repay all he has owed to his "wife" and "kid".
Step down while he still in his glory day and let all the fans remember him as their perfect idol!! Isn't this is wise decision to make!!

Quite agree with you, actually Andy Lau is a bit ridiculous on this. He is not young anymore and what is the big deal of getting marry. Pity her of supporting him for such a long time.
Hi from Australia. Reading about your post but was not having time to put up my comment. Her sacrifices does not bear fruits after all. She looses her precious time and other opportunities as well.
this lady carol zhu is 43 y/o and had been andy lau's gf for a freaking 24 years!!! what a waste of youth and sadly, carol looks her age while mr.lau still look the same as 20 yrs ago. he might be an arsehole, but she is oso responsible for her owwn foolishness. i would think 10 yrs of dating is more than enough to decide the next step you want to take in a relationship!
