What mood are you in?

What would you do when you're in the bad mood??
What would you do when you're in the moodless day?
What would you do when you're in the good mood?
1st if you're in a bad mood, then, you will tend to be short temper, sensitive, depress, stress, tense, etc.
2nd if you're in the moodless day, you will be mind blank, do nothing, but sleep, but lying on the bed, .... to me that's moodless.
3rd if you're in the good mood, anything will make you happy regardless of anything. Right?

For those in the bad mood, well, think of someone who is unfortunate than you, probably that will help you to change your mood, a bit la...
If you're the 2nd category, moodless... then continue to do nothing lor.... better than bad mood mah, right?
If you're in the 3rd category, good ... spread around, the world needs you!! Needs your joyful laughter!!

Oh boy, ..... am I in the joyful mood? Oh yes, I am indeed!! hahahahaha....

How would you react when you hear someone announce that they are getting married

How would you react when someone announce that they are getting married?

If it is your close friend, you will definitely congratulate them and give them all the best wishes and blessings.
If it is your acquaintance, you will still congratulate them but with half hearted.

It's always a different between that... and it's very much depend on what position are you in, right?

A friend of mine told me that she's planning to get married this year end. I was happy for her and I was wondering also, first few years of marriage, you'll be having good time, the honeymoon period things like that... what about after married for few years??

Will you all quarrel over money, over in laws, over no time to spend together, etc?

When I first got married, I was kind of enjoying the honeymoon period, unfortunately the honeymoon period wasn't last long and more over due to working stress and that had lead into many arguments and quarrels.

If a couple regardless of married or not married, are not compromising or giving into another party, perhaps that will end up tragedy.

Don't you think so?

Anyway, back to my friend's wedding announcement. She was so happy and sweet over the proposal from her hubby to be, and kept the wedding ring picture in her MSN Messanger. And then, I was asking myself, ... have I ever put my hubby's picture in my wallet? Hmmm... not a single time....

Maybe... I said maybe, ... different age, different generation and different exposure.

If decent young lady first boyfriend that became the husband, honestly to me that has not been exposed enough to the outside world. Not that I encourage everyone to flirt around, but, still that is considering gaining experience, isn't it right?

hahahaha... having said that, every couple should learn how to understand each other needs, stand by each other, compromise as well.... that will definitely build a healthy marriage.

How do you handle your working life?

Working life ain't easy to handle!

Especially that isn't your fault. How do you react on it and how do you tackle it? Will you get the blame from your superior or will you defend yourself? What if you have a superior that doesn't like his staff to defend himself/herself?

~sigh~

This has been something that we ought to face on our day to day life. And, many of these issues are not able avoid. You are either to face it or take it lightly and be positive about it.

If you decided to face it positively, then you can act on it and be pro-active on everything. Otherwise, you are not able to compete with others.

If you decided to take it negatively, then you'll be depressed over it and find this is too stress and tense about it.

So, which one are you?? Positive or negative?

G Hotel, Penang

I visited G Hotel last weekend and noted they have lots of funny funny chairs in their lobby. First impression that I have from the hotel was, geee... this hotel is so modern. Modern in a sense that their basins in their washroom unlike those typical basins. Unfortunately I do not have a chance to snap a few of that.

If you have a chance do check it out, ya?

The lobby and their lounge is all located at the ground floor. And, it's divided by this nice design and unique separator.

Look at the chairs that place in the lobby, isn't it nice?

This G Hotel Superior Room.

This is Mandarin Oriental Deluxe Room.

The G Hotel superior room working desk.

The Mandarin Oriental deluxe room working desk.

Oh ya, take a look at their superior room... their superior room is even bigger than Mandarin Oriental Deluxe Room. I also got to know from some friends that the hotel is not user friendly, for example when the guest arrived at the lobby, they do not greet the guest, and they do not face the guest by opening their car door. This is something I don't think Penang Hotels have such hospitality attitude.

Another complaint was, the LAN is underneath the working desk and you would have to collect the validation password from the reception counter. Don't you find this troublesome? They do not provide the LAN cable you have to bring your own. My friend has find this troublesome, un-user friendly.

Apart from that, the hotel is actually located next to a shopping mall, Gurney Plaza, where you will see lots of shoppers walk in to the hotel, take a look and also utilize their washroom. You will tend to see lots of youngsters, school children during weekends, after schools and school holiday.

Have I brought up the swimming pool?? No, huh?

Do you still feel like having a swim? The construction site is actually Gurney Plaza Phase II constructure where they planned to expand their wings to fulfill the local shopping needs.

Anyway, for those that like to stay next to a shopping mall and a sea facing hotel, with cheaper rate, perhaps this is the hotel for you.

Tune Hotel

Anyone see any Tune Hotel in Penang? I don't see any, in fact, saw this when I was in KL few weeks ago.

Heard that the room is as good as the 4-5 star hotel like Coronade Hotel, Parkroyal Plaza Hotel; and it's cheap too.... Look at the banner, the price is from RM9.99 and noted that there is an * which means this RM9.99 with terms and conditions.

TGIF

How would you spend your Friday when you know you don't need to work on Saturday?

Ok, allow me to have a quick head-up. Many multinational companies that we have in this small little island practice 5 working days, which means you only work from Monday to Friday and rest day on Saturday and Sunday. If any public holiday falls on Saturday, there will be a replacement holiday on Monday.

Unlike any local small company will work your ass out, and make sure you work enough of the 8 hours a day. They even squeeze you more than that....

Ok, back to the topic!! How would you spend your Friday when you know you don't need to work on Saturyday?

For the singles, will of course, go partying, clubbing, etc.
For the courting couples, will either go for movie, clubbing together or pak toh lor, what else, right?
For the married couples, without children will either do housework, run errands or pak toh lor...
For the married couples, with children, of course spending time with children, family, lor, right?

What about for those married couples, that had been marrying for long and no kids... what do they do? Clean the house? Run errands? Or just being lazy at home?

I know some friends will hide themselves at home and pursuing TVB drama... and they can start from 9pm till the next morning 4 to 5am.
Some will meet up with a few good friends for drinking session. What else will they do, ai ya, .... also all the gossipping lor......

At times, I realize if we do not treasure the weekends and make it more meaningful, what can we do the make it better?

1. Help out those non-profit organization.
2. Be a volunteer to those homes.

Well, care to share for those that have plans and mission over the weekends?
