Is it true?

Is it true that the 3 malls are being sold?

Especially for Queensbay Mall. It was just opened last year in December and now, not even a year, it has sold to EPF. Am surprised to read this news from yesterday STAR paper, and now this is openly publish in any other media too.

Not that it does affect us, the shoppers. But this is sold to EPF, and I do have doubts of EPF way of managing properties. How well? How professional?

Let's talk about property management in Penang, not to mention as a whole Malaysia. How do people percept in property management? People don't care much about its cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance.

Let's not talk about high end plaza like Gurney Plaza or even Island Plaza, let's talk about KOMTAR or even Prangin Mall or Mega Mall in Prai area. How do you find these malls?? KOMTAR now is like foreign civilians' shopping mall. You will tend to see lots of these people lying around, walking around and honestly, any dick and harry would feels the threat as you wouldn't know these people may come up front and snatch your bag or not? Right?

Prangin Mall - another mall which is next to KOMTAR. How do you find it? To me, honestly it's dirty. Look at the car park, it's dark and they are so stingy in getting any bright lights. Don't you think by getting more security guards to petrol the car park would help? I don't think so. Take a look at their escalator too, you don't even want to hold your hand on that handle. I wonder how many times a day they clean it or wipe it. The dustbin, it's full of dirt...

I may be very very picky and fussy about it. Honestly, there's no way for Penang malls to compete like Singapore malls, not to mention KL.
