Shock the World
When I turn on my pc this morning, my eyes were wide opened when I saw the headline “King of Pop died at 50”.
I just can’t believe it… cuz, this news came in too sudden to many people, and even radio is playing his songs, to pay for his tribute.
Another sad story is Farah Fawcett, I’ve seen her when I was a small kid, got to know her from her golden hair, in Charlie’s Angels. Especially her love story with Ryan O’Neal… something that not many couple could go thru.
RIP FF & MJ!

Will you object?
Many object to making English a ‘must pass’ SPM subject!!
The above title really caught my attention! Would you agree with the above?
I would 101% agree to this idea and this implementation. English is an International Language, and you could see these in International Airport, even Olympic games, SEA Games, etc. When you’re doing an international business, English is required. When you’re in café, bar, bistro, people speak English.
I was very disappointed to see there are many people out there right now does not dare to speak out, especially English. Whether is poor or broken, just have the guts to say it out. No one would laugh at you, no one would condemn you. At least you learn, and if you make mistake from there, you could pick up. Right?
I truly wish this could be the MUST PASS subject for SPM, at least, it gives the nation a better future!

Lost
Today whole day I wasn’t in the mood to work… things happened too abruptly, and too shock that nobody could have the mind to get ready what to do next.
And the person that left me is somebody that I am very close to, whether at work, on work or personal. When you’re feeling down at work, you will have somebody to talk to… and she’s the somebody to me.
Am I too emotional over things that had happened? Probably, I don’t know, but I know I am a sentimental person which treasures every sentimental values.
At this hour, at this time,… my mind basically is blank. Though I know life must go on… but can I “grief” for it for the time being?

What an Idol?
When I read the news about Andy Lau's long time girl friend Carol Chu moved out from the bungalow after the wedding plans called off.
I really wanted to hats of this Mr. Lau whom I find him a very irresponsible man in the century. Don't you think so?? A woman has been with you for a century long and has been quietly supporting him without standing in the lime light; yet, he doesn't care much or even give her a title of Mrs. so and so.
Then question lie here, what kind of man is this?
And, why would the fans blindly admiring him and so on??
Even Alan Tham also admitted that he has two wives, and even Jackie Chan is admitting Lim Fong Chiau is his legally married wife.
If a fan could crazily follow their idol like that and pressuring the idol for not getting married; think those fans can be neglected without giving a reason. Come on, that's people personal's life, isn't it?
Isn't it silly to call off the wedding due to media frenzies? Even so, so what?? Just sue them for infringe of privacy then.
I always believe there's always a way of getting rid of these media... if Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes could do it in Italy, then who is this Andy Lau??

Am I a good wife?
Why I asked myself?? Well, today it’s a special day that my husband that he wants to celebrate with me. But I was too busy and then tired after a long hours work.
I know many will advise you to go ahead and celebrate with your husband, but how many will understand that the lethargic wife is so tired and wanted be home early and rest. Not only rest, she may have to continue to work after her dinner and bath.
Eventhough as a wife you voice out to your husband, the husband may think that you ain’t supportive. Right??
So, it ain’t easy to be an understand wife, a supportive wife at times.

The so-called news
I only have 1 question in mind… why can’t they put the global economy crisis as priority first instead of making all these non-sense??
Aren’t they notice the country has more problems to solve, have employment rate increment to resolve than changing Government.
Why can’t they think like a gentleman with joint forces and get thru this hurdles that the entire world is facing right now??
Seriously, I am so sick of reading the news!! If you know what news that am referring!!

Responsibilities
And the funniest thing of the day is, they have received a letter from an appointed Government body and stated that what we had highlighted is unacceptable. And the story goes like this…
For those that drove passed Villa Emas, there’s a bumpy highway that leads to Penang Free Trade Zone. Any cars that pass by that will have to slow down as the road is sinking. Thus, many had actually highlighted to the right body, and the latter informed that this is belongs to another body who is the Federal’s management. Thus, the process is to write to them and informed them about the road condition.
Today we received an official letter from them and saying that the road is on perfect condition, need not to take further action, if complaint persists, please advise to seek the road developer to fix the problem.
Isn’t this is a joke??
People are pushing the responsibilities away… people mentality here are not the same as westerners or even our neighbour. They will just push it away and said it out loud that this ain’t belong to them. If each of everyone has such mentality, I shall see how would this grow.

Economy Pain!!!
Question here is, is there anything big deal??
I don’t find it…
If am not mistaken I read something yesterday about fuel price too. Diesel will not drop further as fishermen are wealthy people. How could they say something like that?? Isn’t it this is a irresponsible statement?
I’ve been really down and moody since last Friday. Company had official announced freeze merit increment. And certain companies had implemented pay cut plant wide and worldwide. When will be our turn?
To think positively is we still have a job.
But when come to think of it, why would this thing happen?? And why management did not take preventive measurements to over come this hurdles??
I know certain companies practises tele-conference or video conference for internal meeting. It’s a one time cost that causes a pain, in a long run, the company and the employees are benefited. And I know some companies, just wouldn’t’ careless… they spend like nobody’s business. Internal meetings, they chose to fly from one destination to another. Company team building held it in Pangkor Island, Langkawi Island… but nobody cares to bother if we spend less will that help to ease company’s cash flow?
Though I know I am nobody to voice out such concern… however, this is my private corner to let it out from my chest!

A husband's value
Instead of talking about the men’s value, we were actually comparing the brothers’ value. You see my sister-in-law’s husband is my husband’s brother. And though brought up in the same environment, the same discipline, the same teaching, some how, my brother-in-law unlike his brother that is my husband which is that helpful in terms of house chores.
Right now my sister-in-law is expecting the 2nd child, and her stomach is pretty big, 2 more months to due too. Her husband has never ever helped her to watch their son’s buttock or bath their son. Thus, not to mention about reading bed time story to their son.
So, question here is though I don’t have any children right now, but I can see my hubby can help out in many ways. For instance right now, if am sick, he will help me to clean the house, cook for me, or even help me to iron.
Perhaps, many husbands think that the men work very hard in the outside world, thus, the wife could have done the best not to disturb them and let me have a comfort home when they are return.
But, how many understand there are many chauvinistic men out there who never think the same as the minority one?
Last night I was caught by the topic which was discussed in the 10.30pm Channel 311 (Astro Wah Lai Toi). 3 famous and well known ladies in KL, one of them is Ms Chinese Pagent (runner up only), the other one is a famous DJ, and Ms Angel Wong Chui Ling. One of them was married to a Taiwanese husband, she was saying, the local guys in Malaysia do not really that independent compared to the Taiwanese men. Of course, that’s based on her observation and her thought. She said, her husband will help out in many ways especially right now she’s pregnant. And that probably is not due to family brought up but due to the husband was under trained in reservist for the country before.
She also added that, Taiwanese men especially the older generation are equally chauvinistic too. But some how the younger generation are different.
Well, for the new women, what would you expect from your husband then? Can they be trained to assist you in house chores??

Melamine panic
My question is simple, why would these people that manufactured these products and added melamine in its products?
Second question, don’t they have quality control that examine every product before they pack and ship?
Third question, don’t the imported countries went thru their health department first before distribute to the seller to sell the products?
My understanding from WikiPedia site, melamine by itself is nontoxic in low doses, but when combined with cyanuric acid it can cause fatal kidney stones. And this is scary, I am not any chemical person, but nobody in the world would want this happen to our loved one.
I can never believe that the manufacturer could make this and added melamine into the food and export. Though is making good money however this is definitely an evil doing.
Now with this, who dare to import anything from China? Before that was SARS, now Melamine panic… later what would that be?

Economy Pain
Well, now that things are over, the party is over and the headache budget is over too… I should be spending more time in this, right?
There are many things happened lately, don’t you all agree with me?? Lehman Brothers, a financial service firm was founded in year 1850, and recently had filed for chapter 11. Hewlett-Packard had released a statement for headcount reduction for about 7.4% which is 24,600. A giant insurance company AIG is suffered a liquidity crisis following the downgrading of its credit rating, and rumour speculating that they will be giving out 80% of the stakes to the America Government.
Yet, looking back at our country, what is happening now?? A blogger and a Member of Parliment are detaining in Internal Security Act (ISA) camp, and last night another blogger was arrested in Kota Bahru. Opposition leader is claiming that he has 31 MPs in hand, requested for a smooth transition from the existing Government.
What else more will happen?? How many ever know if anything happens, what would happen to our country?? Economy is definitely hurt and harm, with how may percent down, I guess not many dare to think of it. Cuz, end of the day, the person that suffers from this pain will be all of us.
Now that Malaysia politics is under the limelight and people are looking at it like looking at a circus show. 2 leaders for the country from no where changing their portfolio, a party who wants to quit from the coalition party before, and decided to quit for good.
As a Malaysian, honestly I have the biggest fear of a country’s economy status. Cuz, once it hurts and it’s difficult to build up within a short period, not even that, and many will suffer, many will be jobless too. Once these indices escalated, crime rate will follow as well. Bottom line, what would people think? They can only think and blame for the Government for not doing their job.
I know it’s always a price to pay for certain that people wants… but not many people will know the price of it. It could cost a life time, it could cost a bomb to many people.
Oh, to add on to this… oil price was at its peak and now it has dropped to USD97, and even gold price is dropping too… I am just hoping the people will understand the implications of ‘Economy Crisis’.

Finally over!
With this by-election fever, there are many people watching how fair it has been carried out and how the ruling government react if the opposition wins.
Apart from that, with this by-election, there are many things happened!!
An abduction case happened on 25 August, Sungai Ara area.
Robbery case happened in Penang International Airport.
That means majority the polices and FRUs have gone to this happening place – Permatang Pauh.
I just wonder, how much money that had spent on this??
Why didn’t they spare some polices for the island and seek help from other states like Kedah or Perak which is under the opposition Government?
I know there are many people were being influence to vote who and who, and who and who will be able to help the country, blah blah blah….
These people only want who and who to win, to lead… but none of these people will understand the residents in that area is so tense, scared and worried. Cuz, the influence people have never been thru the pain 1969 case. Don’t they??
Though who and who has won by majority votes, have anyone thought of what’s the process and procedure for him to step into Parliament? Anyway, I don’t blog anything about politics nor the Government. But this by-election does piss people like me.
From a quiet town became a happening one…. Every day have lots of helicopters flying around from the dawn onwards, lots of people, lots of polices, lots of FRUs, … and lots of banners and streamers.

Sleepless nights
Well, I do not deny the fact that I have been thinking a lot. I even could think far like few years later, what will happen if I do this or that.
Anyway, I was chatting with a colleague yesterday. We both were sharing the same thought. Many times, when friends or others encourage you to speak out; you will tend to tell the whole story to the listener. And if the listener has never been into the situation where you’re before; you will tend to elaborate more.
And many times, they will advise you if you can’t change the fact, just face it or accept. But not many even know when you accept the fact, it’s a painful experience and it’s always have a price to pay.
Within 6 months, I have 2 painful experiences. Though I went back to work, I talked to people, I smiled, I laughed. But how many that has such experience will understand the inner self is in pain? I believe not many… for those that have positive character, yes, they may be able to accept. But for a pessimistic person may not be able to accept it but to think it over again and again.
I don’t know what to say down here, but I am not only thinking about the incidents that I went through but also the family disputes and conflicts that had been bothering me.
I am grateful that I have my other half whom truly understand what’s and where the problem is. But, there is something in your heart and mind that bothering you so much so that it ought to spill out. And you know time is not right and the opportunity is not at your side.
So, ended up… these are the sleepless nights!

Daughter-in-law
I am into this situation where I truly agree what this article says about a daughter-in-law.
飯菜早已香氣四溢,媽媽總是熱情地招呼丈夫;
Contradiction
Sensitive in a way what people told me and what people perceive in me. And, I may be contradicting myself too.
Some has told me this is fated, nothing much we could do. If this is really fated, but why allow me to conceive the 2nd time and yet take it away from me.
I have many many questions to the God whom always pass on so many obstacles to our lives. But why of all the things and this happen to me?
Was it my fault for not wanting the children when I first setup a family? Or it was my fault for having it too late?

Mood swing
Early this morning, 1 SMS was received from my ex-colleague whom is also pregnancy around my time; she had a twin baby girl. Both mother and babies are well and healthy. Honestly I don’t know what other word to describe that feeling when I received that piece of message.
Another message is my younger sister-in-law is expecting a daughter, and will be due by end of this year. Isn’t this a good news too??
August would be a mood swing month to me. Am trying damn hard for not thinking about it, cuz, my 1st baby is due sometime Merdeka day. And it maybe a Merdeka baby too.
And thought of having the 2nd one, unfortunately God decided to give me some hard time to face. The 2nd one is an ectopic pregnancy.
I have never know this could happen to me. But what can I do right now? Nothing but to wait for God to give me the strength to live on with my own life.
Especially right now when you know your husband is extremely busy at work, and nothing much you could ask from him. And you wouldn’t want to bother him much too, as he does need 100% of concentration on his projects. I guess none of the wives would want the husbands fail, isn’t it?
So, left me without anything but my ownself?!
I know am a bit sensitive today!! Or perhaps this whole month too.

The unpredictable weather
In fact, am having one right now even drink so much of water.
Just before I could post this, I hear lightening sound and the sky become gloomy. This is gonna make lots of clinics rich. I mean not to be bad or what, but with such sudden change weather, how many could actually take it even if you’re one of the healthiest person on health. Right?
Well, word of advice. Drink lots of water and avoid going out if unnecessary. The haze isn’t getting better after all these years… and I wonder was it because they burn by intention or unintentionally.

Pissed with these news!
Everyday morning, we have no other news but only see these politicians are debating over oil price, sodomy cases, Mongolian murder, cronyism, and so on. Why can’t we have something like helping the country in building up the economy? Why can’t we have something like how to make use of PETRONAS’ $61B profits? Why can’t we have something like what has the Government done that attract many investors into our country??
Isn’t this is more fruitful in terms of helping the civilians, the people, the poor??
Our own oil company has produced so much profit and given a certain amount of it to the Government. Yet, our Government disagree to make use of the money to re-build certain states’ public infra-structure.
Many people asked me did I watch the other night debate between the 2 big shots. Honestly, I didn’t as I can’t bother much. Even I watch, what do they intend to do?? Yet the should be even more worried than the lower people that if this continues, this would definitely woo away many investors.
If this really happens, what about Malaysians?? They will have to face jobless problem, and they will have to face financial problems.
As far as I know, many younger generations are opting for migrating to other countries. Though they may be categorized as 3rd class citizen, yet, we do not have to see all these news each day, isn’t it?

Customer Unsatisfaction!!
Well, I was not only upset, but also very angry and frustrated with the service that I was encountered when I was asking the promoter what happened to my face lately.
I’ve been using Sheseido brand for almost 10 over years, and all these years, I do not have any skin allergy problem nor dehydrated issue. But lately, my face has been having this skin allergy.
I know it is due to dehydrated, thus they were recommended me to use one of their product which is highly moisture. And mind you, that product isn’t cheap; it costs me about RM155, yet to count on the cleanser which I purchased from them for many years.
Anyway, when I went over to see them today, one of the promoters, by the name of Elaine Tan came to me, 1st question she asked, was it due to drug consuming. First of all, I told her, I did not take any medicine, nor any specific drugs too. Secondly, I told her, it cannot be hormone change, as I do not have any expecting symptoms thus, that could not be concluded as hormone change. Thirdly, I followed the processes in how to apply cleanser, softener, moisturiser and so on. And how could I still have the skin allergy problem.
Guess what, she doesn’t give me a proper advise, but kept accusing me for taking drugs that causes such allergy on my face.
I was so mad at that time and told her off that, if she can’t get me a solution right now, I would have rather change products. She kept silent for awhile yet still finds that I should not have such problem if I’ve been using their products for so many years.
Come on, as a customer service or so called promoter, shouldn’t be their expertise to tell their customer what happened and what next need to be resolved for such skin problem instead of concluded the customer had consumer certain medicine that causes such skin problem.
Well, that was not the only issue that made me mad. All these years, whenever they have any promotions, or any consultants came from Japan or Korea, they will call their customer one by one and inform them there’ll be a facial promotion, and asked us to support them. And guess what, I saw a Kiwi consultant today at the counter, yet, I wasn’t not inform about the promotion. And that promoter that assisted me was telling they do not my contact number. I was really mad at that time, I told her off, please check the record once again, I have been receiving calls from your counter, and how could you tell me that you do not have my contact number if your record??
I was really really upset and fed up at that point in time; I just walked out from their counter and decided to op for other products and services.
I suppose those that into customer service industry should know what is call Customer Is Always Right, and what does a Customer Satisfaction means!
