Day Care Centre

It’s worst to hear somebody that you can rely on to look after your kids suddenly tell you that she doesn’t want to continue due to personal matter.

I’ve yet to be a mother, but I can understand how would be a mother feels. When a mother hears this piece of news, am sure she’ll be very upset. Cuz, it’s never been easy to find another baby sitter again, and it takes time for the baby sitter to discipline the kids and also to look after too.

Putting the kids in the day care centre is many working mother’s choice right now. It’s always pros and cons. And we know if one fall sick in the centre and that will spread among the children.

Eventually suffer is the kid and the parents that will be nursing them.

And nowadays day care centre is so commercialize, you hardly have a full focus on the a child’s development.

I’ve chatted with a friend whom sending her kids to day care centre, and this is part of life that many parents gotta go thru. Though is hard, but, what other choice can we choose, unless the mother decided to quit the job and be a full time housewife. Frankly with the current economy, how many could survive with 1 income earner? Right?

Hi New kid...bringing up a kid can be fun same time taking up most of your time...
and you're right about daycares being commercialised...

Canada takes in about 245,000 new immigrants ever year and a lot bring their parents with them to babysit their kids...and everyday at the malls can see grandpa's, grandma's pushing strollers.

Oh ya, here pending one's salary, can receive up to Cdn $200.00 a month per kid, up to I think 12 years old, and either parent can get time off work...1 YEAR! Yes, you read that right to care for their baby.

By the way, I did a posting, "bringng up Audrey" d/d 5/8/08....not sure you read it, but if free take a peek at my archive.

You keep well and have a nice day, Lee.

Now a days, the day care centre charges is too expensive. They even charge OT. I worked in a nursery aft my SPM. The nursery offers day care service. They way they bath, feed and care for the children, I can tell you, I will not send my kids to the centre. They charge more expensive than babysitter too.

I am lucky enof to find both my kids a very good house type nursery. I sent them there from as young as 17 months to 4 years old. The principle was an ex-pediatrician nurse. Thus, she knows very well how to take k of these little ones. The best part is, she maintains only 30 children every year. She monitors each and every kids by herself. She has her hubby to help her out and got a teacher too. You can ask her anything about your kid anytime. She will tell you exactly what your kid ate, did and his behavior very precisely.
