2008 Beijing Olympic

I have just finished watching Men’s Relay Medley 400m, and I could a see a mother’s eyes whom is so proud of her son and that’s Michael Phelps.

I always like to watch the way he swims. Not only the speed but the styles of the strokes, regardless free style, frog style, or butterfly stroke.

And Michael Phelps is well recognized as the Top Olympian for year 2008 Beijing Olympic. With his performance, one that I could realize is ‘positive parenting’. I got to know that he’s a hyperactive child and was sent for swimming classes to provide him with an outlet for his energy

First time seeing the fastest man on earth running the 100m last night, and the winner broke the world records. And this is Usain Bolt from Jamaica. The winning style was magnificent and it has no words to describe.

And, this evening at 6.30pm (Malaysia time), we’ll be watching another hero competing a gold medal in Badminton. Tonight badminton match will be another exciting match not to miss; cuz is our world ranking number 2, Lee Chong Wei vs world ranking number 1, Lin Dan.

Who do you support then?

Hello New Kid, I too am glued to the Olympics...and yes, it is beautiful to see M. Phelps giving his bouquet ofroses to his teary eyed mom.
Which mom can hold back her tears to see her son do something nobody has ever done before.

Few years back, I saw both mother and father cry aswell even other parents at their son's high school graduation ceremony.
He scored 99.9% in every subject, and won 7 Ontarion as well National awards.
His name was called 7 times to come up on stage collect his awards.

Other kids only one or two awards. His mom really cried. I too felt abit emotional to see a son exceeding all expectations.
Incidentally, he had a string of Canadian and American Universities offering him scholarships, as well UK's Oxford and Cambridge.

Couple of years back, our Malaysian friend here, their daughter scored 99.9% in her high school exams, all subjects...and she was awarded the highest ever award, 'The Queen Elizabeth Award for Excellence'.
Very, very few students get that. She today on scholarship in her 2nd year reading medical Forensic studies and hopes to be a Doctor.

Back to Olympics, I hope our TV will show the badminton match. I love badminton.
You keep well and have a great week, Lee.

Hi Uncle Lee, though our M'sia Hero, Lee Chong Wei lost the battle, however, he had done his very best to compete with China Lin Dan.

I know what you mean by those teary eye parents.... even I do too feel the emotional. :)
